Too much leveraging in oil commodities smelling like Enron Jr.
Enron was a company that manipulated energy prices at the cost of many lives, due to rolling blackouts. However, this was perfectly legal since it was in the bounds of capitalist practice.
People may be gambling the survival of their company on the high cost of oil.
