About
~ Primezero
Primezero Research and Innovation is an engineering and semantics workshop, specializing in product development and rapid prototyping.
Primezero Research and Innovation (aka “Primezero” or PZ for short) started as a tiny company during the dot-com boom, right around the time that it was OK to shoot a hamster out of a canon and call it a valid TV commercial (you know who you are… Outpost.com, great commercial, btw).
Since then Primezero has grown remained a tiny workshop on the world wide web. Recent projects include software for financial services companies in the Asia Pacific region and mobile applications in C and Java. (java, java, jing, jing, jing…) Primezero now gets enough research and development work to maybe deserve the title ISV, but that might be up to the rockstars in the industry to imbue this humble hobby bench with such a title. More later…
..and that as they say is that.
~ Eric Okorie
Eric Okorie is the geek at Primezero Research and Innovation, an Internet workshop-turned-ISV. He is a software developer and roboticist who has formal training as a mechanical engineer from Arizona State University. (woohoo! go sundevils!!)
In 2004, he tested the feasibiltiy of filtering seawater by reverse osmosis using the then-called Thermal Hydraulic Engine (now called the Natural Energy Engine). His report is available at the U.S. Departments of Energy and Interior.
As an engineering student at ASU, Eric took several computer science and Mandarin Chinese language courses, during which time he created several flavors of dictionary tools for search and translation of words, phrases and scientific data. The collection of experiments is called the Primezero Chinese Dictionary Tools Project.
Eric is a Zend Certified Engineer, Sun Certified Java Associate and Sun Certified Java Developer. He loves writing software at work and writing software in his spare time. His newfound loves are running (thanks to an amazing, beautiful super-runner Renah Seay) and sailing (due to his love of ships, submarines, or anything that involves water) . Eric wants to race sailboats in the Olympics some day.
.. more blah blah … coming soon …
