AIMS Math Test Should be Canceled This Year, Classes Should Have Pizza Party Instead

I would be disappointed if I wrote this manual for nothing, but then again, it would be nice for students to do something more productive like have a pizza party. :) That’s right. A pizza party is a better use of student and teacher time than the AIMS Test.

Primezero Research To Develop Completely Different and Independent “Super AIMS Math Test”

In light of the lowered standards in the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards, Primezero will develop a new “Super AIMS Math Test”.

Even if students pass the AIMS test, they may not be prepared to actually solve real-life problems in industries such as roofing, solar energy and even baking.

Students exiting high school unable to estimate cost of commodities, like wheat or gold, can only harm society. So, Primezero Research has begun work on a new approach to assessing student understanding of the Arizona Department of Education’s Standards.

As usual, the research will not use a penny of Arizona Department of Education, as much of the test development will only need a pen, a paper and some common sense.

For students who feel undervalued, underestimated and just plain bored, help is one the way.
